CICE at Georgian College

Thinking about going to College?

What is Community Integration Through Co-operative Education?
The Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE) program is designed for individuals with cognitive disabilities and learning challenges who require academic accommodations and modifications for success. This program provides students with opportunities to enhance their academic and vocational skills in courses and field placements. Integrated courses are modified to students’ specific academic abilities and strengths. Students are supported by Learning Facilitators who accompany students to class and provide additional academic support.

Postsecondary Scholarships and Bursaries / OSAP

Graduating students should take a look regularly at the Scholarships and Bursaries page (see list of pages on left) for an updated listing of scholarships and bursaries that the guidance office has learned about. Also check the two websites listed at the top of that page for other possible financial opportunities.

Students who are graduating (or have graduated) and are leaving at the end of this school year should also remember to complete the commencement awards form that will be made available in the spring.

A speaker will be at Madill sometime in April or May to speak about how and why to apply to OSAP. Listen for announcements. Please note that the online OSAP application for the following school year is generally not available until April or May.
